29 weeks

We had a baby shower in Kansas last Saturday. It was a great turnout and hosted by a good friend Beckie Wernli. My mom was planning on attending but due to the weather in Kansas she had to leave to head back to Arkasnas on Saturday morning. Diana (Robby's mom) was out of town that weekend, visiting friends. Overall, it was a great event. The baby got some great gifts.

We went to the doctor last week and had to get a glucose test done. In case you didn't know, my fear of needles is HIGH!!!! The doctor had already told me if I didn't pass the first test then I would have to go back in and have a three hour test done, drawing blood every hour. NO WAY was this an option. I listened to the advice of some other mothers and didn't eat that morning and worked out, and for that I am happy to say I PASSED the test! No gestational diabetes for us.

about us and our new family

thanks for following us on our site. we will post pictures as they get edited and slimmed down. i am now 28 weeks pregnant and wear it well from the front but the side shots need some work.
our little girl will be here may 9, 2010. we are excited about this new little addition.
oh, we are also adding onto our house to make room for this little one. remodeling and contsruction make one question daily home life.
we don't have a name picked out yet, but when we do we won't annouce it until she's here.
we are excited to have our little girl be introduced to her two cousins in arkansas and two in kansas (all also girls). we have a great set of grandparents in both states along with lots of cousins in arkansas! lots of road trips and long weekends for us.
